You can find your Liaison Librarian by checking this online list. Look for your major or the subject of the class you're taking (or the department you teach or work in).
There is a Liaison Librarian for each academic department to make sure that the library meets the needs of all of our students and faculty. These liaisons help out by:
- providing customized instruction to classes
- helping faculty and students find, evaluate, and use information for assignments and projects
- creating research guides
- helping people with in-depth reference questions and research
- developing the library's collection to support their major's curriculum
- keeping the academic department informed about JMU Libraries
