All Special Collections services and materials will be temporarily unavailable for part of Summer 2023 while professional movers relocate collections and furniture to their temporary locations. As we are able to bring services back online, you will be able to:
- Ask us questions: Email us at library-special@jmu.edu, leave a voicemail at 540-568-3612, or use our Consultation and Instruction form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
- Conduct research in the Special Collections Reading Room: Request an appointment at least two weeks ahead of your desired date and time, and we will do our best to facilitate your visit during our open hours, starting in Fall 2023.
- Request virtual instruction sessions with Special Collections materials, starting in Fall 2023. Special Collections instruction sessions will not be provided in Summer 2023.
- Request digitization of Special Collections materials starting in Fall 2023.
