Go to the Course Reserves search page. From the Library Home Page, select the 'Services and Spaces' drop down box; select the Course Reserves link, the third link in the middle column.

On this page, enter your professor’s last name or the course number to see if there are materials on reserve for your courses.

Once you’ve found your course, you’ll see lots of information about the materials your professor has on reserve for their classes.  Pay special attention to the Loan Period and Call # columns:

  • The loan period tells you how long an item can be checked out, usually 4 hours or 4 days.
  • The call # column lists the library that the item is located in and whether it is currently available.

You’ll also note that some items have a “Digital Material” loan period and “Internet” call #."  These are items such as e-books and online videos.  Click on the title and find the link in the catalog record to view the material.
