Q. Host a WebEx session in Canvas
Login to Canvas at canvas.jmu.edu.
Navigate to Course
Once logged in, navigate to the course you would like to host the WebEx session in.
In your course, select WebEx on the left-hand side. If you cannot see WebEx proceed to the next step. Otherwise skip the next step.
Make WebEx Visible (optional)
Navigate to Settings -> Navigation. Drag WebEx up from the hidden area and click save.
Schedule a Session
Select Schedule to begin setting up your WebEx session.
Edit WebEx Session Settings
1. Create a name for the session
2. Setup a date and time for the session. Sessions can be created to start in the future.
3. Select a conferencing account for the session. You will usually want to select Training Center.
Hit Save to finalize the settings for your session
Host the Session
Select Host when you are ready to host the session.
