3SPACE is the first general-education college 3D printing classroom in the U.S. It offers 3D printing access and training to people of all experience levels, primarily via JMU's General Education courses.

With Carrier Library closed for construction, 3SPACE has temporarily moved to Lakeview Hall room 1102.

The Makery in Rose Library still supports 3D printing workshops for students, faculty, and staff, as well as JMU courses that feature 3D printing but which are not affiliated with 3SPACE.

When the Carrier renovation is complete, 3SPACE will be an "experimental technology classroom" on the 2nd floor of the renovated and expanded library. It will still offer 3D printing, but is slated to expand its offerings to include other technologies as well.

Even in a new, temporary location, 3SPACE is still here to support campus!
