The process to recall a library book or other item is similar to the process for requesting an item. How to recall a book or other item:

  1. View the page for the book or item you want. You may need to click on the title of the item in the list of Library Search results to get to the page.
  2. Look at the “Get It” section of the page for the book or item you want.
  3. Click the “Sign In” button if you are not already signed in to Library Search. Use your JMU eID, password, and Duo (or your Community Borrower information) to sign in.
  4. On the next page, scroll down to the “Get It” section. Click “Request for Pickup” and fill out that form and click “Send Request.”
