JMU has a school-sponsored membership to the Wall Street Journal. All students, faculty and staff can create accounts for unlimited access to WSJ.com and the mobile/tablet apps.

HOW TO SIGN UP:

  1. Open this link: https://guides.lib.jmu.edu/wsj
  2. If prompted, log in with your JMU eID and with Duo.
  3. You should see the Create Account form shown at left.
Use your JMU email address to create an account. This will be your username.
  4. Check box to "Agree to Privacy Policy, Subscriber Agreement, Cookie Policy."
  5. Click Create. You should get a screen with a confirmation code.
  6. Continue on to the WSJ site to begin reading.

Faculty and staff
will need to refresh their Wall Street Journal accounts each subscription year to continue to access the journal online. WSJ requires this to verify continued affiliation with the university. An email should be received with a link to re-verify, but should the email be overlooked, faculty and staff can regain entry by using the link above and repeating the registration process. This will not generate a new account but instead reestablish the initial account.

Students will not need to reverify their accounts. During the account creation process, students are prompted to enter their graduation month and year, their accounts will expire three months after the date entered.
