JMU has a school-sponsored membership to The Economist. All students, faculty and staff can create an account with The Economist for unlimited access to their content on a web browser or on mobile/tablet apps.
How to create your account for The Economist:
1. Visit https://myaccount.economist.com/s/login/SelfRegister
2. Enter your first and last name.
3. Enter your JMU email and create a password for your The Economist account.
4. Select Create Account.
5. A verification email will be sent to your JMU email. Once your verify your account, your subscription will be active and ready for use.
Note: If you already have a personal account with The Economist using your JMU email address, you should change this to your personal email. This will allow you to register under the JMU subscription with your JMU email address.
