1. Documents:

   • PDF (.pdf)

   • Rich Text Format (.rtf)

   • Plain Text (.txt)

2. Spreadsheets:

   • Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx)

   • Comma-separated values (.csv)

3. Presentations:

   • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)

   • Open Office (.odp)

4. Media:

   • Image files (.jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp)

   • Audio files (.mp3, .wav)

   • Video files (.mp4, .avi, .mov)

5. Web Files:

   • HyperText Markup Language (.html)

   • Cascading Style Sheets (.css)

6. Archive Files:

   • ZIP (.zip)

   • RAR (.rar)

Once uploaded/submitted, most of these file types can be previewed within Canvas/SpeedGrader. Larger files, particularly those in video or audio format, may require to be downloaded to your local computer before viewing. If a file can be previewed within SpeedGrader, it can most likely be annotated by utilizing the Annotation Toolbar within SpeedGrader found in the top-right margin of the assignment.
